From pastures to pawprints - Caring for your pets, together

Shared decision making approach

Wraparound service is about providing you with more than simply gold-standard veterinary medicine. It’s about providing an experience that is fully aligned with your needs. We will teach you about nutrition, behavior, and how to plan for your pet’s likely future costs - whether that’s through insurance or budgeting. We will teach you about the little things you can do at home to create a happier and healthier relationship and environment. We will guide you through the entire path to owning and loving a pet.

Because they aren’t “just a pet” to you. They’re family. And when it comes to family, we know that only the best will do.

A Simple Standard

We believe in redefining the standard of medicine within our community. Here, you will find a team that is uncommonly talented and meticulously trained to uphold a simple standard: a level of care that you typically could only find at universities. We are passionate about this because we understand how deeply you love your pet. Give us a call, and we’ll make the difference you both deserve.

Why We Exist

Love is at the center of everything we do. We feel a deep connection with animals, and a sacred responsibility to help them live the longest, happiest life possible. We feel a deep connection to people, too. We cherish the opportunity to get to know you, to understand what matters to you, to build trusting relationships and to make the impact that you need. Love comes in all shapes and sizes, but it is always beautiful, and we will always honor it. After all, it’s why we exist.

They are quick to take my dog Maynard in for appointments, and they take very good care of us and him. Thankful that we found a good vet for him.

Took my toy poodle there for a check up. Very helpful visit. My dog used to snap at his previous vet, but due to Dr. Rustebakke’s calming presence he didn’t. Dr. Rustebakke was very thorough and took the time to explain my pets issue.

The Doctors and staff at Rustebakke are always so nice and are very good at explaining things. I never worry about her when she is with them.

Recently moved to the area and we needed a vet to get our dog's shots up to date and a coworker recommended Rustebakke to me. Super friendly and professional staff.

Kind, compassionate, responsive and very accommodating. Staff was able to fit us in between regular appointments today and allowed me to go inside to be there during the procedure. This was my second experience with the clinic and staff and I am very impressed. Considering making a change and sending all of our records to them. I highly recommend them, with no reservations.

We moved back to the area with three dogs and two cats. Since we've been back we've had to put down all three dogs due to old age. The employees at Rustebakke have been incredibly professional and compassionate every time. I can't imagine doing that job day in and day out but they do an amazing job. We've also taken our animals in for checkups, deworming (chickens of all things...) and other general care and their work in those areas is impeccable also.
